Still Breastfeeding after a year ?

After associating yourself with all these advantages, you’d want to carry on with breastfeeding as long as you could although you have to struggle throughout. You are punched, kicked, bitten and even shouted at by your so-called baby to be breastfed wherever and whenever she wants to, which is quite embarrassing sometimes. So, at times you might want to wean off and start giving her normal milk. Having said that, is it that easy enough?

My daughter is nearly 16 months old, still breastfeeding on demand, very healthy and active child. Breastfeeding her has not been that easy from the beginning as she had a tongue tie. Nevertheless, I wanted to continue breastfeeding her for extended period so I did not lose hope and accept the consequences that came with it.  However, at some point sooner or later I have to wean her off somehow.

So, what’s Next then? Experts says you can breastfeed your toddler in their second year as well which comforts your baby when they are ill or merely upset. Or else there are plenty of choices in the market such as growing up milk, toddler milk with vitamins and minerals or simply normal cow’s milk to choose from that works pretty well.
