Still Breastfeeding after a year ?
At the same time, I know it’s difficult to wean off your toddlers at this stage since they are now smarter enough to understand the difference between mother’s milk and other regular milk through their taste and smell. I have also attempted numerous occasions myself but she would rather turn down every possible efforts of mine. Despite that, she is learning to drink regular milk through a straw, I hope at some point she would wean off gradually. Some babies might not like the taste of the regular milk so for that you can mix little honey to make it sweeter or add some fruits such as mangoes, banana or some ground nuts for the rich taste. This way you can gradually wean off of breastmilk and make a habit to drink regular milk.
If you are planning to breastfeed for even longer period of time, then it is the best decision as well. Mother’s milk is a boon to their children so longer you breastfeed, more benefits your little one would receive.
Good luck Moms, Hope you all follow your heart and take a right decision.
