Spending time with your toddlers is one of the greatest joy anyone can ever have in this world. Keeping toddlers entertained is one of the most important parts of motherhood.

If you are a stay at home mom or a single mom working from home, it can be a hectic day to manage home and kids at the same time. So, what can you do to make them busy in a useful way and make your life easier too?

Whenever I bought her new toys, I store her old toys for few weeks and likewise, when she loses interest in her new toys, I bring out her old toys and store new toys. This way it keeps her grounded and busy with her so-called new toys.

Give attention when needed

Children are attention seekers, therefore, they can’t play on their own for hours. Even if you are busy, try to be involved in some way, whether it can be just looking at them or just playing with them for few minutes or so in-between.

Kids books are colourful and fun. Have a cupboard filled with their books and let them open themselves.  choose their own book. This way it keeps them occupied for some time until they’ll finish taking out and reading all the books.

If you are in the kitchen, busy cooking and also want to keep an eye on your child, then it is the best way to keep your child busy. Give them some pans and spoons to play with it.

If you are a crafty Mom, then use your skills to make your own toys and clever ideas to keep your toddlers busy. It not only saves money but also makes your child creative and clever at the same time.

Exploring outside

Sometimes giving yourself a break and going outside with your child, in a park, play area or just in a garden to connect with nature is vital. Show your child the beauty of nature and teach them to respect and love them.
